Yes I am thankful for my journey because now I realise that I am stronger and better for it. Every time someone said “no” to me it developed a new skill in me. I had to get it done, so I got it done. I kept telling myself that God wouldn’t have allowed it, if I couldn’t do it. He loves me and has plans for good for my life. So I just pressed on, kept on going from stress to stress, to strength to strength. Until I surprise myself, until He surprises me. I know it’s all because of Him and so I love Him so much, words cant explain.
In order to survive and thrive through life’s challenges, we must trust in His love for us. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that’s love (John 3:16). He knew how critical it was for us to believe in His love for us and so He made the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.
One of my favourite song is “Trust His Heart” and I have shared a few lines from it below.
Verse 1
All things work for our good, though sometimes we cant see how they could.
Struggles that break our hearts in two, sometimes blind us to the truth.
Our father knows what’s best for us. His ways are not our own.
So when your pathway goes dim and you just cant see Him, remember you’re never alone.
But I love the chorus best of all!
Chorus
God is too wise to be mistaken.
God is too good to be unkind.
So when you don’t understand.
When you don’t see His plan.
When you cant trace His hand.
Trust His heart.
